Show must go on despite a revised programme

On Friday’s program, Racing have been change due to the forecast adverse weather conditions for Sunday. Repechage and quarter-finals will begin at 8:30 am followed by ranking finals C, D and E.

The events with the highest number of entries, men's and women's single sculls events, will row in the quarter-finals, where a top-3 finish is required to qualify for the next stage, the A-B semi-finals. The less fortunate will continue on directly to the ranking finals.

As for the other events, participants will need to perform at their best to qualify through the various repechages. The number of qualifying places will depend on the category and its density.

Another event have to be highlight ! The Spares Races which take place at 1pm. These races are a rowing tradition, and showcase rowers from different countries who have come to compete, not as starters, but as substitutes. They will compete in an unofficial single sculls race.
